Born and raised in Los Angeles, I’ve been playing golf since I was 8. I started competing at 11 and went on to play Division I golf at Georgetown University. But learning the sport was only part of it. Golf has taught me some of my most valuable life lessons — patience, gratitude, perseverance — and it’s my joy to pour those into my community, not just through the game but through the character it builds. I’m currently a coach at Swang, an organization creating space in golf for people who were never invited but always belonged. I also have experience tutoring students in grades K–6 in reading through nonprofit work, along with plenty of hands-on time caring for young children — and I know firsthand the joy of teaching kids skills they’ll carry for the rest of their lives.
