For me, the deepest joy of parish ministry comes from witnessing the living Word of God reassure His people of complete, unconditional love and forgiveness. Since August 24, 1997, the Lord has granted me the privilege of serving as a called and ordained minister of Christ’s Church, bringing the Good News to His people across the country.

Over the past decades, I have been blessed to serve 14 congregations—including four with elementary schools of 150–450 students—across six districts from the East Coast and Midwest to California. In each place, God has provided rich opportunities to grow in pastoral care, parish administration, congregational stewardship, team building, and missional leadership. He has also entrusted me with roles guiding congregations through pastoral and principal transitions, grief, trauma, conflict, and seasons of renewed vision and mission clarity.

I hold a Doctor of Ministry in Missional Leadership and Congregational Stewardship from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, where I developed a ministry‑mapping tool designed to help churches, schools, and nonprofits align their work for greater Gospel impact and financial health. My formation also includes training at the U.S. Naval Chaplain’s Candidate School, graduating from the Chaplain’s School in Newport, RI at the Naval War College during my time at Concordia Theological Seminary, Ft. Wayne.

My wife, Anne, grew up in Papua New Guinea, and together we have been blessed with five adult children, all born in California. Anne serves as both an in‑house and private‑practice attorney, holding a Juris Doctor from Western Michigan University–Cooley Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Communication & Journalism from Purdue University.

Through every call, every congregation, and every season of ministry, I remain grateful for the privilege of proclaiming Christ crucified and risen—walking with His people, bearing His Word, and trusting His promise that the feet of those who bring good news are beautiful indeed.
